Anger in any form is devastating to human beings. If one is getting angry on any other,its mean in actual he/she is playing fool with themselves.
According to survey,
- 90% people always remain in anger
- 80% people convicted because of anger
- 80% people get angry on stupid things
Allah (SWT) has differentiated between humans and animals just because of wit and human beings gain edge due to their “Ability to make choice” and in anger people forget to use their brain,they lose their ability of decision, thats why it proves fatal to them. After their ferocity they feel lethargy because they lost their energy just by getting aggressive.
Controlling anger is one of the foremost characteristics of the pious. It is easy to get and forget, but difficult to give and forgive. The path to Paradise is steep. The thing to do is repress anger and forgive the offender.
Here are the different references of Quran and Hadith from where we can get very candid solutions of Anger Management:
Hadith:
- The Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said: “Whoever controls his anger when he is able to act upon it, Allah will call him before all of creation on the Day of Resurrection, and will let him choose whichever of Hoor he wants.” [Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh]
- Anger is from Satan
- Anger spoils Eemaan
- Who controls his anger will be rewarded by his Lord on the Day of Judgement
- He is mighty and powerful, who control himself in anger
- Fear spoils Eemaan similarly as the bitter plant contaminate honey
- A person asked a good lesson for himself,Allah’s Apostle (S.A.W) repeatedly advised that don’t get angry
- A companion asked: how many times we should forgive our slave. Holly Prophet (S.A.W) remained quiet, upon his three times inquiry, He (S.A.W) replied: “Forgive him 70times”
Verses:
- Allah says: “And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqoon (the pious). Those who spend (in Allah’s Cause) in prosperity and in adversity, who repress anger, and who pardon men; verily, Allah loves Al-Muhsinoon (the good-doers).” [Quran: Surah Al-e-Imran, Ayat 133-134]
- When they get angry, they forgive. [Surah Al-Shurah:37]
- Yet forgive and overlook,till God brings His command [Surah Al-Baqra:109]
- And restrain rage and pardon men-and God loves the good doers.[Surah Al.Imran: 134]
- So pardon them and pray forgiveness for them.[Surah Al.Imran: 159]
