Quran o Sunnat

Holy Quran, A Guideline For Muslims.

The Holy Quran is the accurate word of Almighty Allah, graciously revealed to our Last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). Al-Quran is the everlasting miracle. It is sent by Allah (SWT) for the guidance of mankind. The unchallengeable authority of the Quran is because it has never been changed and has been in its original form since its revelation. The Holy Quran is divided into thirty equal sections, which are known as Juz in Arabic. It consists of 114 chapters (Surah’s), of varying lengths. Surah Al-Baqarah consisting of 286 verses is the longest chapter and Surah Kauthar consisting of three verses only is the shortest chapter.  Al-Quran is eminently unique in its details and teachings, as the Almighty Lord says:

“And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a Surah the like thereof, and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful.” [Quran, 2: 23]

Reciting the book of Allah and devoting our time to its study will bring immense benefits to us  in this lifetime and the hereafter. It is our obligation to read the Holy book, to honor it and obey it, so that we can be rewarded. It would either be in our favor, a proof for us on the Day of judgment when we will need every single good deed, or it will be standing against us, the very Speech of our Creator, a proof against us. The Holy Quran will plead to Allah for its readers. The people who read Quran will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. Our position in Jannat is determined by the amount of Quran we memorized in this life. The Quran will lead us to Paradise. The Prophet said:

“The Qur’an is an intercessor, something given permission to intercede, and it is rightfully believed in. Whoever puts it in front of him, it will lead him to Paradise; whoever puts it behind him, it will steer him to the Hellfire.”

The verses of Holy Quran enlighten man’s soul, decry all wrongs, cleanse his morals and call for the establishment of integrity and companionship by obeying Allah (SWT) as the supreme force. It enables a person to understand his role in this world, inspires him to think and consider and guides him towards the righteous way. To sum things up, the Holy Quran provides all the counseling that humanity needs. Without the guidance of the Holy Quran, mankind would still be groping in the darkness.
