The religion of Islam put great emphasis on living a purposeful and influential life. It also focuses on the importance of time and expects that Muslims will spend every minute of it to please Allah Almighty. Importance of time enhances when the month of Ramadan starts. This is because human beings are immortal and there is no surety of next Ramadan. Therefore, Muslims should try to gain as much blessings and seek as much forgiveness as possible. In this holy month, every minute of day is precious and blessed and Muslims should not miss out this opportunity at any cost.
Ramadan The Month Of Revival
It is their best chance of gaining mercy from the lord of all lords. The imperativeness of time in Ramadan cannot be defined in words. However,some Muslims lack information and knowledge regarding this month and unfortunately miss out the chance of getting best out of this month. It should be known to all Muslims out there that time is given a lot of importance in their religion and time again time Islam has put emphasis on it. In his hadith, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said:
Make the most of five things before five others: life before death, health before sickness, free time before becoming busy, youth before old age, and wealth before poverty.
Interpretation of this hadith is very easy as it simply states that free time is extremely important and one must spend it wisely when available. They should make sure that every second of their lives is cherished and used in the best way possible.
Be Mindful of Purpose
Utilization of time in best way is only possible when someone is completely aware of its importance. Therefore, it is essential that Muslims are mindful of basic purpose. This knowledge or mindfulness has to exist in Muslims. One of the many purposes of this kind of mindfulness is needed regarding the purpose of human life. If a Muslim is well aware of his role in this world and knows what he is supposed to accomplish then he will develop a better perspective of life.
